Framelit Friday Stampin Up Wondrous Wreath Easter Card

Happy Good Friday!! This Friday I wanted to showcase how versatile the Wondrous Wreath Framelit Die Set is. I originally bought these from the Autumn and Winter Supplement but they were carried over to the Spring and Summer Catalogue and this is why, it can be used for many seasons and occasions!!

Framelit Friday Wondrous Wreath Easter Card

Framelit Friday Wondrous Wreath Easter Card

For my card base I used some So Saffron A4 Cardstock cut 5 7/8 inches and scored at 4 1/8 inches. For my card front I cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and cut it to 5 5/58 inches x 3 7/8 inches. On some more Whisper White cardstock I stamped my wreath images from the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set using Pistachio Pudding, Wisteria Wonder and Strawberry Slush Classic Inks. I then die cut this using the wreath die from the Wondrous Wreath Framelit set using my BigShot. I popped this onto my card front using some Stampin Dimensionals . Out of some Wisteria Wonder A4 Cardstock I die cut the wreath bow piece and added this to my wreath and card front with some more dimensionals. To decorate my wreath further I  used some more of the stamped and cut out eggs from my previous posts HERE and I stamped some of the flowers images from the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set in Daffodil Delight Classic Ink and die cut these with the flower die in the framelit set. I popped the eggs and flowers on my wreath with some Mini Glue Dots.

Underneath my wreath I stamped the word Easter using the Sophisticated Serifs Stamp Set in Wisteria Wonder Classic Ink and just above it I placed the die cut word “Joy” from the Framelit set using some So Saffron cardstock.

For the inside I used some Whisper White cardstock cut to 5 5/8 inches x 4 1/8 inches and stamped the “Bloom” sentiment from the For Peep’s Sake Stamp Set in Wisteria Wonder ink, and well it wouldn’t be an Easter card without a few chocolate eggs, well not in my house anyway!!

Happy April everyone!! Okay so we see the end of Sale-a-Bration, which by the way I loved and got so many gorgeous free products, but all good things come to an end! We have so much to look forward to though with the new catalogue launching in a couple of months! Anyway for this month’s Weekly Wednesday I have decided to focus on the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Kit. I have not broke mine open until now so its definitely not too late!!

So as its the first of a month I thought it would make an ideal series to start! So as its Easter in a couple of days and I am completely obsessed with the For Peeps Sake Stamp Set I decided on an Easter theme for the month of April.

For my April month I took Daffodil Delight, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding Classic Ink and stamped the main “three chicks” image from the stamp set on to the top of my calendar sheet.  I also took out the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Stamp Set and in the same three colours I stamped the flower images on my sheet.  Using the “April” stamp and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink I stamped the month just underneath my image.  Using one of the die cut pieces from the kit I adhered this to the top right hand corner with some snail adhesive.  Using some of my stamped egg images from yesterdays project I popped a few up on Stampin Dimensionals around my chicks and there you go a very cute month for April, so we will get ready for May next week!

Tag It Tuesday Stampin’ Up For Peep’s Sake Easter Tag

I am trying to introduce some themes to my daily posts to challenge myself to make different projects.  So Tuesday’s will now be known as “Tag it Tuesday’s”.  Well we all know Stampin’ Up do amazing punches including the tag punches which I love!  However, you do not always have to use them as plain tags, albeit at Christmas this is mighty handy!  But throughout the year you may not feel the need to break out your tag punches but they can be used for so many other things!

I decided to create a tag to adorn a bag of Easter yummies using my ever faithful Ornate Tag Topper punch.

For Peep's Sake Tag

For Peep’s Sake Tag

Taking a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and some Daffodil Delight cardstock I cut them both down to 4 1/2 inches x 2 inches and used my Ornate Tag Topper Punch to create two tags.  On my Whisper White tag using my favourite stamp set of the moment, For Peep’s Sake (love it, its so cute!!!), I stamped the main chick image in Daffodil Delight Classic Ink.  For my sentiment I partially inked my stamped with Daffodil Delight ink by covering the top half of my stamp with masking tape and then after removing this I used the Costal Cabana and Strawberry Slush Markers from the In Colour 2013 – 2015 Stampin Write Marker Set and with a little huff I stamped my sentiment.

On my Daffodil Delight tag in matching Daffodil Delight Classic Ink I stamped the row of Easter Eggs image from the stamp set all over my tag. On a separate piece of Whisper White cardstock I also stamped this image in Pistachio Pudding, Daffodil Delight, Costal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush Classic Ink. I cut an egg out of each colour and popped these on to my Whisper White tag at the feet of my little chick with some Stampin Dimensionals. Using the Small Oval Punch I punched an oval out of some Daffodil Delight cardstock and lined this up with the hole in my tags and a punched a hole for my ribbon to go through.

Tag It Tuesday Easter Tag

To finish my tags I sponged all the edges with Daffodil Delight ink and popped some Daffodil Delight Candy Dots onto the front and then using some Crushed Curry Taffeta Riboon tied it round a Cellophane Gusseted bag filled with yummy chocolate eggs.

Make it Monday Stampin’ Up Sale-a-Bration Irresistibly Yours Note Cards

For todays Make it Monday I am breaking out the beautiful Irresistibly Yours Speciality Designer Series Paper, for me it has been the highlight of this years Sale-a-Bration promotion and as this comes to an end on the 31st March, yes just next Tuesday!! That will be the last day you can qualify for free products for every £45 you spend on Stampin’ Up products and the last time you can get your hands on the beautiful Irresistibly Yours DSP.

Now you know I love sponging colour on to this DSP so well that’s what I have done.  I have made a set of 6 3×3 notecards each with a different colour combination. Some I like and some I am not so keen on.

SAB Irresistibly Yours Note Cards

SAB Irresistibly Yours Note Cards

Each notecard is a piece of Whisper White Cardstock cut down to 6 inches x 3 inches and scored at 3 inches.  The Irresistibly Yours DSP is cut down to 2 3/4inches x 2 3/4 inches.  For my sentiments I used the Sale-a-Bration Simply Wonderful Stamp Set.

Irresistibly Yours Notecards

For my first three notecards I used Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango Classic ink and stamped the “Congrats” sentiment from the stamp set on some Whisper White cardstock with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and then punched it out with the Large Scalloped Oval Punch.  Then I used Strawberry Slush and Smoky Slate Classic ink and stamped the “Thanks so very much” sentiment on to some Whisper White cardstock and cut this into a banner shape.  For the third card I used Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe Classic Inks and stamped the sentiment “so happy for you”  on some more Whisper White and also cut this into a banner shape.

SAB Irresistibly Yours Note Cards

For my other three note cards I used Blackberry Bliss and Daffodil Delight Classic Ink (this turned out lovely) and stamped the “you’re the best” sentiment and punched it out with the Word Window Punch. On my next card I used Melon Mambo and Tempting Turquoise Classic Ink and stamped the sentiment “You’re simply wonderful” and again punched this out with the word window punch. For the last card I used Baked Brown Sugar and Lost Lagoon Classic Ink and stamped the “to a great friend” sentiment and used the large scalloped oval punch again to punch it out. I adhered all my pieces of DSP on to my card fronts with snail adhesive and popped my sentiments up with Stampin Dimensionals.

Happy, Hoppy Easter card!

For my card base I used a piece of A4 Pistachio Pudding Cardstock cut at 5 7/8 inches and scored at 4 1/8 inches.  My card front is a piece of Whisper White Cardstock cut to 5 5/8 inches x 3 7/8 inches.  On which I drew a diagonal line three quarters of the way up the card.  I then took the row of eggs image from the For Peeps Sake Stamp Set and stamped in rows all the way down the card in Pistachio Pudding, Hello Honey, Crisp Cantaloupe and Soft Sky Classic Inks.  I also stamped some extra images on a spare piece of Whisper White cardstock.

Stampin Up’s Framelit Friday Shaker Card

This Friday I wanted to showcase how versatile the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits are.  I don’t as yet do Project Life but bought these Framelits as I love making shaker cards and thought these would be ideal, and they are!

This card was a custom order so it is a combination of products but to make my shaker cards I always turn to my Project Life Framelits.  For this card I used a piece of A4 Blushing Bride Cardstock scored at 5 7/8 inches.  I took a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and cut it to 8 inches x 5 5/58 inches.  I stamped my images randomly over this cardstock and sponged on some Pink Pirouette Classic Ink.  I then took the largest frame from my Framelits and die cut my frame using my BigShot.  From the middle leftover piece I die cut some of the images out and adhered them on to my frame.  On the reverse of this piece I adhered some Window Sheet with some Tonbow Mono Multi Glue.  I then went back to my card front.  I had stamped out some images in Pistachio Pudding, Pink Pirouette and Pool Party Classic Ink which I  die cut and popped up on Stampin Dimensionals to imitate a Pattiserie window.  I die cut my sentiment and adhered this to my card front.  I took some sequins and was pretty generous with these and spread them around my images.  I went back to my frame and adhered some 3D foam tape and popped this on my card base.

For the inside I used some Whisper White cardstock measuring some spare DSP and extra images and adhered all these along with my stamped sentiment in Pool Party Classic Ink.

So these Framelits make shaker cards super easy and so much fun!!

Thanks for shaking by, Louise xx

Weekly Wednesday Easter For Peeps Sake Treat Bags

I don’t really want my Wednesday posts to have a theme as such, I want Wednesday’s more to be about whatever mood I am sort of in, but my mood will begin on the first Wednesday of the month and will stay the same for that month! I know long mood!! So sort of like a monthly series!?

I am a bit late into this month so I am going to jump into Easter as it really is not that far away!

For Peeps Sake Easter Treat Bags

So a nice and easy quick treat for little ones (or not so little ones) these would be a nice teacher gift or from a teacher to their students! Or maybe visiting relatives!?

For Peeps Sake Chocolate Treat Bags

For Peeps Sake Chocolate Treat Bags

I took the For Peeps Sake Stamp Set and stamped the Easter chick image and the “Happy, Hoppy Easter” sentiment in Strawberry Slush, Costal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Wisteria Wonder and Pistachio Pudding Classic Ink on to some Whisper White Cardstock.  I then used my Circles Framelits Collection (3rd smallest) to die cut these out with my BigShot.  Once all done I cut a piece of cardstock measuring 1 5/8inches x 3 2/8 inches out of Strawberry Slush, Costal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Wisteria Wonder and Pistachio Pudding A4 Cardstock.

For Peeps Sake Stamps

To pretty these pieces up a bit I used a bit of partial punching with my Scallop Oval Punch where I put my cardstock in from underneath and only through part of the punch (see below).  This edged my cardstock pieces, I scored and folded them in half.

Partial Punching

For my treats I used some small covered chocolate sweets and placed them in some of the 2.5cm x 20.3cm Cellophane bags in rainbow order.  I took the piece of cardstock and stapled this to my treat bag.  Then taking some Stampin Dimensionals I popped the Easter chick on the front and my sentiment on the back and there we have it some very fun, quick and simple Easter Treat Bags!!
