Welcome to another Pootler’s Blog Hop. Today’s hop is all about showcasing some of the stunning products that are available FREE, yes I said FREE, as part of Stampin’ Up’s annual Sale-a-Bration. I have gone in to more detail at the end of the post so don’t forget to stay until the end to see how you can qualify for some of these gorgeous products. So you may have joined me from our lovely Pootles…I mean Sam or if you working backwards Camille. All my fellow Pootler’s have produced some fab pieces to show you what you can do with all the freebies on offer!
So for me today I couldn’t wait to make these cards. As soon as I saw the Flowering Fields Stamp Set in the Sale-a-Bration catalogue I knew what my first card would be, but when it came to making it I couldn’t decide to go very simple with just one flower or add a few of the flowers as I really wanted to showcase how stunning they are, so as indecisive as I am I plumbed for both!

For my card bases I used Crumb Cake A4 Cardstock cut at 4 1/8 inches and scored at 5 7/8 inches. I cut a card front for each card again from Crumb Cake cardstock measuring 3 7/8 inches x 5 5/8 inches. On my card fronts using Versamark Ink and my Stamp-a-ma-Jig I stamped my flower images. I then heat embossed these with some White Stampin Embossing Powder.

Once embossed I coloured my flowers with my Prismacolour pencils but you can use any pencils you have to hand, the images are tiny so any amount of colour along with the white embossing powder will pop! When my card fronts were finished I wrapped some Silver Bakers Twine around them and popped these up on my card front with some Stampin Dimensionals.
These cards were very simple and quick to make, I have decided I am going to make some notelet sets for gifts for mother’s day! The possibilities with this stamp set are endless so stay tuned!!
Anyway next you will be hopping along to the lovely Camille or hopping back to our Sam, enjoy the rest of the hop and thanks for stopping by today, Louise xx
