So another Saturday Sketch Day has rolled around! I am entering the Freshly Made Sketches again this week and this idea came to me in the middle of the night lol!!
I am a little bit in love with the Something Lacy background stamp especially heat embossed with Stampin White Embossing Powder so taking a piece of Vellum Cardstock measuring 4 x 3 1/2 inches and stamped the something lacy image using Versamark Ink and melted the embossing powder with my heat tool.
For my card base I took a piece of A4 Sahara Sand Cardstock cut it at 4 1/8 inches and scored it at 5 7/8 inches. I then took a piece of Something Borrowed Designer Series paper measuring 4 inches x 3 1/2 inches. I adhered my embossed vellum directly to my card base with some Tonbow Mono Multi Glue and popped my designer series paper on the tope half of my card front with some Stampin Dimensionals.
For my sentiment I took a strip of Sahara Sand cardstock and a sentiment from the For the New Two Stamp Set and stamped it with Versamark Ink and again heat embossed this with white Stampin Embossing Powder. I adhered this to a length of White Jute Ribbon that I had wrapped around the join of my DSP and Vellum with some Glue Dots, I also added a Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons again with another glue dot.
For the inside I just adhered a piece of Whisper White Cardstock Measuring 5 5/8 inches x 3 7/8 inches. I stamped another sentiment from the For the New Two Stamp Set in Sahara Sand Classic Ink and adhered this in to my card with some snail adhesive.
Hope you have enjoyed my entry to this weeks Freshly Made Sketch Challenge, why not pop over and check some of the other cards out!?
